  1. Download GridMe

    Pick Mac or Windows at the top. Your browser saves one small file—leave it in Downloads so it is easy to find.

  2. Install the free helper

    Illustrator needs a tiny helper app once. Choose the button for your computer and install it like any normal app.

  3. Connect GridMe to Illustrator

    Open the helper, choose Open, and pick the file you downloaded in step 1. Wait until you see a success message.

  4. Open GridMe in Illustrator

    Quit Illustrator completely, open it fresh, then go to Window → Extensions → GridMe. Sign in when the panel asks—we email your code.
